Destruction Simplified
The Liquid Product Destruction process removes liquid from brand owners’ containers and allows for the recycling of the packaging materials including cans, bottles, paper, cardboard, plastic, and other materials. Once emptied, the empty container is baled into its specific grade of material and shipped to end markets and used as a feedstock for new packaging or products.
The liquids that are extracted from the Liquid Product Destruction process are transported to local end markets. End markets for liquid include agricultural biodigestors. The process adds liquids to manure or other organic matter and converts it to gas that is returned to the grid.
The local biodigesters are an excellent example of a closed loop process and is an excellent demonstration of a circular economy flow in the Lower Mainland. In many cases, product destruction services are almost entirely Zero Waste.
